Climate Science 2050: ARRCU open meeting and invitation for feedback

The meeting has taken place:

January 22, 2:10-3:30 Eastern (Toronto) time

Please save the date of January 22, 2021 at 2:10 pm for an open meeting that will focus on the Climate Science 2050 document. This document,

https://www.canada.ca/en/services/environment/weather/climatechange/climate-science-2050.html

which was recently released by the federal government, summarizes priorities for climate change science research and knowledge needs to inform climate action.

During the meeting, Marjorie Shepherd and Shawn Marshall of ECCC will be on hand to provide more background and explanation on the document, and next steps in its implementation. The agenda will consist of 15-20 minutes for a presentation followed by a discussion.

In preparation, ARRCU invites you to post feedback reflecting your thoughts on this document. This feedback might consist of questions, comments, or brief white papers related to research. This input will help inform the discussion during the meeting and follow on discussion.

No submission is required for you to participate in this meeting; please feel welcome to participate in any way you feel comfortable.

To submit feedback in advance of the meeting, simply email it to Paul Kushner ( paul.kushner@utoronto.ca) and he will post it to a shared filespace that will be shared before the meeting. The sooner you send your feedback, the more time the community will have to view it.
