CMOS SCHOLARSHIPS
The
CMOS Scholarships Committee annually solicits applications for:
A – Undergraduate Scholarships
- The CMOS
Undergraduate
Scholarships ($500), awarded to two
students in their penultimate undergraduate year at any Canadian
university who, in their final year, will be taking four or more half
courses in meteorology, oceanography, limnology, hydrology or
climatology.
- The CMOS
Daniel
G. Wright Undergraduate Scholarship
($1,000), awarded to an undergraduate student entering final year of a
B.Sc. Honours program in Mathematics and/or Physics, with interest in
pursuing graduate work in physical oceanography.
- The CMOS -
The
Weather
Network/Météomédia Scholarship ($1,500),
awarded to
a female student in her penultimate year of an atmospheric science
program at a Canadian university who intends to pursue a career in the
fields of meteorology or atmospheric science.
Applications

Undergraduate Scholarships
must be received
by 15 March
by the Awards Coordinator at e-mail: awards-coord@cmos.ca
to be considered by the
Committee.
B – Graduate Scholarships
Applications
for Graduate Scholarships
must
be received
by 30 April
by the Awards
Coordinator at e-mail: awards-coord@cmos.ca

be considered by the
Committee.
