The Centre has continued to support the annual regional science fair here and offers prizes in two categories. The projects were judged in April 2003 but no prizes were awarded. The annual lecture tour speaker, Dr. Geoffery Holland, who spoke on The Past, Present and Future Challenges of Global Ocean Observation, 9 April 2003. It is proposed that the center will become more active in the coming year with more regular meetings being held.
